The clematis in the last photo is Nelly Moser, two of them, actually. She does well in the shade, her color doesn't hold up well to intense sun. I have 5 clemati, and 4 are blooming. Henryi is being shy this spring, but within the week should be out.

the white clematis in that last photo, is SOOOO beautiful! I just showed it to my husband and now I want to go buy some too.
Dr Smak, I have three lovely lavender clemati -- Ramona's. You can see why I had to have them. They are blooming wonderfully this year.
I'm so glad you've had the time and "conditions" to play in the dirt - your nurturing goes beyond your family, friends and patients.
